SUMMER 2010 TRAINING CLASS SCHEDULE
Welcome to The Runner Training Team. This is your gateway to a fun, personalized approach to reaching your running goals. We offer group programs for beginners, intermediates, and advanced levels. One-on-one consults are available.
Our sessions include experienced, quality coaches, realistic goal setting, with fall and spring sessions including optional weekend long run, 2 mid-week runs (some speed work), personalized weekly training schedules, small pace-based groups.
All running classes meet at River Legacy Park in Arlington. Register before class start date and receive a 10% discount.
5K Training Class
- A 6-week program running August 28 – October 7
- Program includes evaluation of your current level of running and establishing realistic goals with specific workout schedules.
- Two workouts per week evenings (Tuesday/Thursday evenings at 7 p.m., optional weekend long runs).
- Weekly monitoring of your workouts with possible revisions.
- Supplemental informational printed handouts will be available weekly.
- $99 for 6-week session (10% discount if registered by August 27)
HALF-MARATHON Training Class
- A 9-week program running September 4 – November 4, 2010
- Tuesday/Thursday 6 p.m. Optional weekend long runs.
- Prerequisite: runner should have completed a 5K and can run consistently for at least 1 hour.
- $135 for 9-week session (10% discount if registered by September 3)
